This is one of the easiest recipes you'll ever make. Crispy chicken and melty cheese, smothered in tangy white barbeque sauce- it's perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

If you're feeling extra, you can make your own white barbecue sauce for this recipe. Since I'm a simpleton, I ordered this sauce from Amazon. I'll post the link down below!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts

  • 4 sub buns

  • 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese

  • 1/3 cup white barbecue sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a gallon zip lock bag, shake chicken with the spices.

  2. Cook chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side, until crispy. Set aside.

  3. Once chicken is cooled, chop into 1” pieces.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together chopped chicken and barbecue sauce.

  5. On a large sheet pan, place partially opened buns and spoon in the chicken mixture.

  6. Sprinkle with cheese and broil for 5 minutes, until cheese starts to brown.

  7. Drizzle some more sauce over the top when finished, if desired!
