This recipe couldn't be any easier to make. Stromboli's are a budget friendly meal and can easily feed a crowd. This version is loaded with pepperoni, salami, and melty mozzarella- something the whole family will love!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese

  • pepperoni slices*

  • salami slices*

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Roll out pizza dough, and cover with sauce about an inch from the edge.

  3. Layer pepperoni, salami, then sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese.

  4. Roll dough into a log shape, pinching the seams at both ends as you go. (You don't want it to ooze out the sides!)

  5. On a greased baking sheet, place dough seam side down.

  6. Bush with egg, and lightly score the top of the dough. (Small diagonal cuts across.)

  7. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and italian seasoning.

  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until crust is golden brown.

  9. Slice diagonally and serve!

*I honestly did not measure the pepperoni or salami, just layer each to your preference! Be mindful of what type of salami you choose- it can make this dish very salty! You'll want to use a mild type of salami.
