ONE POT CHEESEBURGER GNOCCHI

One pot meals are number one on my list of favorite recipes. This dish is full of flavor, and comes together in 20 minutes! Less dishes, and more time to eat!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package of gnocchi

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey

  • 1 white onion, chopped

  • 1 cup beef stock

  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard

  • 1 can crushed tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp cumin, paprika, onion and garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

*Optional green onion for garnish


DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a large, deep skillet, melt butter over medium high heat.

  2. Toast gnocchi until golden, shaking the pan every 2-3 minutes or so to avoid burning. Set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, brown ground beef and add onion. Cook until onions are translucent.

  4. Add toasted gnocchi, minced garlic, beef stock, mustard, tomatoes and spices. Stir to combine.

  5. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and *green onion on top!
