I've made Olive Garden marinated chicken before, and it's always a huge hit. Making it in pasta form? Now that's even better! This recipe is definitely going to make your mouth water. Tender, juicy chicken is best made in the crockpot, but mixing it with tangy, OG Italian dressing and cream cheese takes this simple dinner dish straight to the top.
INGREDIENTS:
1 bottle Olive Garden Italian dressing
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 16 oz box penne pasta, cooked
8 oz cream cheese, cubed
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp ranch seasoning
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Trim fat off chicken if desired.
Lightly coat crockpot with non stick cooking spray, or use a crockpot liner.
Pour dressing into crockpot, add all seasonings and minced garlic, whisk together.
Add chicken breasts and cream cheese.
Cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 6 hours.
Shred chicken, and mix well with the dressing mixture.
Add cooked pasta, stir, then serve!
I like to top mine with parsley and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
